Activity 28: Life in this text refers to the quality of a person's life. Their definition includes a person's personal, professional, and working life. After 9/11 the victim's families would receive compensation based on their job. If someone had a high end job, they would receive more money than a person who had a low end job. Another factor that came into play was the mental damage that was done to the victim's families. Larger families received more money because a certain amount of money was given out based on the mental damage done to members of the family.
